Dorozhkina on the red carpet in Cannes   /27.01.10/

The new year of 2010 (or to be precise January 7-10) Diana Dorozhkina began with presenting her Christmas collection at the international cultural festival Cannes Shopping Festival. This is the first time a designer from Ukraine participated in such a large-scale and prestigious fashion forum (on equal terms with the world-famous French designers and brands like JITROIS, ESCADA, etc.)

The festival was opened on January 7th at the Cannes Festival Palace with Diana Dorozhkina Christmas collection show.

Dianan’s Christmas collection, which was designed and tailor-made for the Cannes show, is kept in blue, milky and grayish black tones. Items made of leather and fur of an arctic fox, raccoon, blue and light blue mink were presented. Textiles with Diana Dorozhkina brand print were made in Italy. The footwear for the collection was tailored by Igor Senin.

Literally the day after the show, on January 8, one of Cannes newspapers issued an article on Diana Dorozhkina new collection; and the French fashion magazine “Le Figaro” is preparing a big article on the new collection of our “corset queen”. Also, representatives of a number of luxury boutiques from Cannes and Monaco did not only express their delight from what they had seen, they also took real commercial interest and offered their services in marketing the new collection.

The day after the defile, Diana had a meeting with representatives of a perfume company, who are now working on the new perfume line by Diana Dorozhkina, which will be presented in spring 2010.
